Virtual Posters

Virtual posters are a key part in Adaptation Futures 2023, serving as a significant component of the conference.

Given the extensive program comprising over 180 sessions, the AF2023 organizers recognize the importance of showcasing the valuable contributions of virtual scientific poster presenters.

Consequently, they have made the decision to provide online access to these materials starting from September 25, 2023, one week prior to the commencement of the live event.

Poster presenters can also include a video presentation of their poster.

This online availability ensures that all participants, whether attending in person or remotely, can easily access and explore these virtual scientific posters through the dedicated conference platform.

To ensure that all virtual posters and the video presentation are visible to all participants by September 25, we ask you to submit your work by August 14, 2023.

Instruction for authors

Virtual Poster

Poster size is 91.4cm x 121.9cm (36”x48”), landscape orientation
The file must be a pdf (maximum 50mb in size)
Please state the title and the authors at the top of your poster
Do not use images that are less than 300dpi, if possible.
Police sans serif

Video Presentation (Optional)

Presenters are responsible for producing their own presentation video, and for hosting it online on a platform of their choice, such as YouTube or Vimeo. The length of the video is flexible, depending on whether the presenters decide to do a ‘poster pitch’ (about 2-3 minutes) or a paper presentation (no longer than 15 minutes).

When submitting the poster file, presenters will be asked to provide a embed link to the online video. Please ensure that the video is unlisted until the end of the conference.

We recommend a minimal resolution of 720 pixel to ensure a smooth viewing experience.
